Call For Entries	The Bennington Chamber of Commerce invites all photography enthusiasts to enter the Moose Shoot Photography Competition. Winning competitors will receive prizes from local merchants. The winning images will be published in the Bennington Banner and exhibited in a public display.
Moose Shoot Deadline	Clean your cameras and stalk the wild Moosefest Moose of Bennington. The Bennington Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a photo moose shoot. Turn in your bagged photographs for exciting prizes from local merchants. Moose must be shot in print or digital format. Pick up your hunting rules at the chamber or the Bennington Bookshop. Entries must arrive no later than Oct.1, 2009 at 5:00 P.M.
Shooting Categories	Moose in his Habitat: Looking for the best landscape shot of a moose in front of its sponsored business. Moose in the Elements: Shoot a moose in the rain, sun or snow. Let's see a moose at sunrise, sunset, or under the stars. Moose Contacts with Children Moose Exchanges with Adult(s) Moose Antics with Animals Moose Close-Ups: Use a macro lens or crop for some tight detail shots. Creative Moose: Go wild with Photoshop or double exposure and bring us your new species.
Rules	Entries may be prints or digital images. Each submission is limited to a total of no more than 20 images. Entries will be judged on technical quality, composition, originality and artistic merit. Submit all entries in a single package with all prints in protective plastic sheets and all digital images burned onto a single CD. Digital files must be submitted in JPEG format with file size being no larger than 4 megabytes. Each photo or file must have the photographer's name, phone number and address printed on it.
Please keep in mind when taking your creative photographs, that no people or animals are allowed on the moose! With each submission, please include the following typewritten information: * Your name * Street address * Phone number * Category * Name of shot or description Submissions sent without a return postage will be held for pick up at the Bennington Chamber of Commerce until December 1, 2009, and then destroyed. Failure to comply with all of the contest rules will lead to disqualifications of your entry.
