Leaf Peeper

Sadelle Anne Wiltshire is a textile and jewelry artist - turned 'weaver of websites' from Bennington, where she works full time for Spectrum Design as a web designer (and also designed the Moosefest website).

Sadelle has taught a wide variety of textile-art and jewelry workshops around the Northeast and beyond For over twelve years, she has sold her line of jewelry "Spindle Jewels" to spinning/weaving shops and museums nationally through her business Pumpkinspun Fiber Designs. She added a touch of her weaving skills to the strap that holds the moose's camera, handwoven in 'ceintre-fleché' technique with telephone wire.
Sadelle has joined forces with co-worker and graphic designer Elizabeth Kessler to create "Leaf Peeper" for Patrons Spectrum Design and Image Pro Color.

Elizabeth Kessler is a recent graduate of Bennington College, where she studied painting, life drawing, ceramics, digital design and animation. While at Bennington College she worked as the Dance Program Poster Designer for three years, creating posters for the college dance performances... She collaborated on the interactive group installation 11, an enclosed landscape built inside the Lester Martin Theatre. Her three animated children's' shorts were each shown at public screenings, including the original fairy tale The Little Sapling and her senior thesis project Don't Touch Anything. Elizabeth, a resident of North Bennington, can always be found creating - anything from jewelry to musical instruments or totally absorbed in her design work. She is a graphic designer at Spectrum Design.

"Leaf Peeper" (also affectionately known as "Leroy the Leaf Peeper") is their ode to the Vermont tourist who enjoys a hike in the mountains and the beautiful foliage that autumn brings. Leroy comes complete with touring shades, camera and hiking boots for a sunny day fall outing in the mountains, and a blanket with a map of Vermont on his back to keep away those brisk fall breezes. He so loves the Vermont leaves that he's adorned himself with a batch to bring home.
