Rae Hart was born and raised here in Bennington, Vermont. She graduated from Mount Anthony Union High School in 1999 and went on to College at Rochester Institute of Technology in New York. It was there she obtained her degree majoring in Graphic Design. She now works at the Bennington Banner doing graphics. The Bennington Banner's archives proved to come in handy on this moose "Tracks Through Time". Thousands and thousands of photos from Bennington throughout the years were used to cover this moose. Look closely and maybe you will see a relative or someone you know.
Denver native, Cynthia Taylor has made Southern
Vermont her home for the past 13 years. As a
transplant, she was amazed by the abundance and
variety of wild flowers, plants and animals. Walking
the back roads and woodlands here, she became familiar
with them.
A self-taught artist, she continually finds inspiration in the
natural beauty of New England. She currently works as a graphic
artist for the Bennington Banner.
Moosefest is Cynthia's introduction to the art
community in Bennington. She will be continuing to display her work
in venues around the Bennington area over the next few years.
