"Moosellaneous Habitat"

Denver native, Cynthia Taylor has made Southern
Vermont her home for the past 13 years. As a
transplant, she was amazed by the abundance and
variety of wild flowers, plants and animals. Walking
the back roads and woodlands here, she became familiar
with them.
The Moosefest was an excellent opportunity for her to
express her fascination with the local wildlife.
Working closely with her sponsor, Lodie Colvin from Bennington
Car Wash and Texaco Xpress Lube, she developed a
design that would incorporate only Vermont native
plants and animals, making their moose, "Moosellaneous Habitat",
an homage to the look of natural New England.
Moosefest is Cynthia's introduction to the art
community in Bennington. She will be continuing to display her work
in other venues over the next few years.
