"Silly Moose on the Loose"

Barbara A. Storrs is the artist in residence at Spotted Llama Studio in Ludlow, Vermont. Barbara was an organizer and artist in the very successful "Llama's of Lludlow" project.
Barbara surrounds herself with the beauty of nature and an abundance of animals from which she gathers inspiration for her work. Painting primarily in water media, she has received awards in Vermont and Connecticut juried shows, and is affiliated with several art societies. Her aim is to challenge herself as an artist by learning new techniques but at the same time not losing artistic spontaneity and freedom.
"Silly Moose on the Loose" was her inspiration coming from the comic side of the large majestic moose. She envisions a silly moose with all his mass trudging though woods and meadows only to have an abstract residue of flowers, branches and other small bits becoming caught on him as he plods along his merry way.
