The inspiration for Jane Glesne's "Twig Eater" moose comes from the moose's native name "Algonquin Monse" meaning "Twig Eater". Glesne uses the art of Adirondack twig work to design a moose of rustic beauty.
Best known for her photography, Glesne also has a long and varied career in energywork, massage, education, fiber art and nature studies. As a resident of Shaftsbury, VT, she finds the mysteries, delights and beauty of the woods provide her with constant inspiration for her art. Glesne hopes that through her work, people will be encouraged to slow down and look more closely at the natural world around them.
Jane Glesne's work has been featured on the covers of Adirondack Life and In Vermont. Her photos have also have also appeared in Vermont Natural History, Adirondack Life and Healing Options. Examples of her photos can be found at www.customvisuals.net
