Artist Pam DiSano specializes in scenes of Vermont and the New England countryside, in a style that is both primitive and folk art. Many homes in the area feature Pam's scenic murals. For twenty-eight years Pam has enjoyed painting both actual and imagined places.

For Pam's moose she has honored her hero, artist Rufus Porter, an itinerant painter of the 1800's who traveled throughout New England. Rufus Porter painted murals on walls and portraits of the occupants of the homes in which he stayed. Pam's moose, Rufus, is painted in the style of his "namesake".

Pam is a Shaftsbury, Vermont resident. She resides on her beautiful 'Two Meadows Farm' which she shares with her husband, four children, three horses, and two delightful Newfoundlands Sargent Pepper and Maggie. Website: http://pamdisano.tripod.com/
